SIXTH ANNIVERSARY SEASON OF JAZZ ROOTS: PINK PANTHER 50

Friday, November 1 at 8 p.m.

The Sixth Anniversary Season of Jazz Roots will kick off at the Arsht Center with a spectacular concert celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the iconic film, The Pink Panther, and its composer - the musical genius Henry Mancini, who is renowned for his memorable film and television scores. This one-night-only tribute program features an all-star roster of special guest artists, backed by the University of Miami Frost School of Music’s extraordinary Henry Mancini Institute

Orchestra. Guest soloists include international superstar Jon Secada; sultry vocalist and Grammy nominee Monica Mancini - daughter of the late Mancini; the powerhouse vocalist heralded by the Huffington Post as “this generation’s First Lady of Jazz” Nicole Henry; and the Miami debut of New York based French singer Cyrille Aimée, who recently took top prize in the first-ever Sarah Vaughan International Vocal Competition. Tickets range from $25 to $150.
